LUXADD joined the USGBC South Florida Chapter’s GALAVerde
Miami, FL, August 27, 2011 - Over 400 green-building enthusiasts attended the USGBC South Florida Chapter's annual LEEDership and Green Awards Program, GalaVerde, on the evening of Saturday, August 27, highlighted by keynote speaker Manny Diaz, former Major of Miami and strong proponent of green building and LEED.
For Jeff Burnside, Master of Ceremonies, NBC6 Special Projects Reporter and multiple Emmys winner for environmental issues, everyone at GalaVerde was already a champion. Making an effort in making the world more sustainable and preserve our environment for our children’s future is what Burnside has been advocating for over 20 years. This October 19-23 in Miami, Jeff Burnside will chair the largest environmentalist journalism conference ever held in the world, for the Society of Environmental Journalists.
